Water Pumps
Water pumps are essential devices used to move water from one location to another, often for purposes such as irrigation, drainage, water supply, and industrial processes.
They come in various types, including centrifugal pumps, which utilise a rotating impeller to increase water velocity and pressure, and positive displacement pumps, which move water by trapping a fixed amount and forcing (displacing) that trapped volume into a discharge pipe.
Some common applications include agricultural irrigation systems, municipal water supply networks, flood control, and in heating and cooling systems in buildings.
Replacing a faulty water pump is essential to prevent engine damage and overheating. During a water pump replacement, the technician removes the old pump, inspects the surrounding components for damage or leaks, and installs a new water pump.
